Dr Rosalind M. Berry has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool, and has completed the Forensic Psychology Practice Doctorate (ForenPsyD) Programme at the University of Birmingham, graduating in July 2020. Her doctoral research focused upon improving outcomes for individuals with acute and long-term mental health challenges.
Dr Berry has worked within medium-secure forensic inpatient hospitals, on acute and rehabilitation wards. She has conducted risk and care planning assessments and undertaken individual and group therapies. She is experienced in completing cognitive and capacity assessments and has contributed to court reports in Care and Family Proceedings since taking up employment at WPA in 2009.
Dr Berry has experience of working with a range of clients, including children and adults, in both community and inpatient settings, and has published in the area of psychological assessments in family and care proceedings.
